– TE will display its extensive portfolio of connectors, wire and cable and sensing solutions for MOG applications –
Members of the media are invited to visit Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, at its booth (#921) at the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition in Galveston, TX, March 13-15. TE will display its extensive portfolio of connectors, wire and cable and sensing solutions — all designed to help make operations in harsh subsea environments more productive and reliable. These connector and sensor solutions are specifically made for subsea drilling, measurement and production applications.
TE’s portfolio includes dry-mate and wet-mate connectors designed and manufactured to withstand the pressures, temperatures and other hazards of ocean depths. It includes connectors that enable end-to-end connectivity in fiber optic monitoring systems as well as power, signal and hybrid electrical/optical connectors. As one of the world’s largest sensor companies, TE also offers pressure, position, temperature, force and level sensors designed to perform in most harsh marine, oil and gas (MOG) environments.
TE will display several of these MOG solutions, including:
• Linear Position (LVDT/LVIT) sensors – Specialized sensors providing accurate measurements with excellent resolution and reliability in one of the most difficult environments for many sensors to perform • Connectors for Subsea Production – Underwater electric and fiber optic connectors designed to meet the challenging conditions of subsea production • SEACON HydraElectric connectors – Wet-mate connectors that enable many configurations to be assembled from a minimum number of components Representatives from TE will be available at booth #921 throughout the show to answer questions and participate in interviews.
