TE Connectivity Features Smaller, More Ruggedized Components for Land, Sea and Air at XPONENTIAL 2017
Members of the media are invited to visit TE Connectivity (TE) at booth #1818 during XPONENTIAL 2017, Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International’s (AUVSI’s) Annual Meeting and Exposition. TE will display its latest electrical interconnect solutions that help reduce weight and space and help improve mission readiness in next-generation unmanned vehicles.
TE continuously develops lighter, smaller, more rugged connectivity solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ground vehicles (UGVs) and underwater vehicles (UUVs). Reducing size, weight and power consumption (SWaP) is vital to improve fuel efficiency and to help ensure reliability in harsh environments.
One of TE’s solutions on display at XPONENTIAL is its DEUTSCH ACT MIL-DTL-38999 series III composite connectors. These high-performance connectors offer high-density contact arrangements within a compact miniature circular connector. Among TE’s lightest weight connectors, the 38999-standard ACT composite connectors offer up to 40 percent weight savings over traditional aluminum connectors.
TE engineers will be available for interviews at the TE booth throughout the show to discuss some of TE’s latest developments in connectivity technology for unmanned vehicles, weapon systems, communications, vetronics and power distribution, including its SEACON connectors, COPALUM terminals and splices and Raychem cables.
