Bourns Hosts Science & Technology Student/Teacher Conference

RIVERSIDE, Calif., September 27, 2017 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that for the seventh consecutive year, the company will host the three-day Science and Technology Education Partnership (STEP) student and teacher conference in Riverside, California. Started in 2000, STEP is the first organization of its kind in the region, and has a charter to help close the skills gap between local K-12 students and the employment needs of the high-tech industry. Expecting to host 5,000 area students and their teachers from Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, this year’s STEP conference will be held on October 3-5, 2017 at the Bourns Technology Center.

Analog Devices and China Electric Power Research Institute Collaborate to Improve Reliability of Smart Substations

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) today announced a collaboration with the China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) to improve reliability of smart substations, the “nerve centers” of modern electrical grids.
