New Connectors Meet the Latest Industry Standards for Harsh Marine Systems
Members of the media are invited to visit TE Connectivity (TE), a worldwide leader in connectivity and sensor solutions, at its SEACON booth #4061 at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) for the launch of TE’s HydraElectric wet-mate connectors and to learn more about TE’s rugged connectivity solutions for offshore applications.
Modular in design and qualified to 4,000 meters water depth, TE’s HydraElectric wet-mate connectors are used in electrical, signal and distribution networks in subsea control systems. The connectors are qualified to meet ISO13628-6 and API 17F-SEAFOM TSD-02, Statoil TR2390 Ver2 and Total GS EP SPS 021 Rev. 07 requirements and also support industry standards for Ethernet protocols, including CAN Bus compatibility.
SEACON is part of TE’s portfolio of innovative brands within the marine oil and gas, defense and oceanographic markets, which also includes brands such as DEUTSCH and Rochester Cable. These brands will also be featured at TE’s SEACON booth.
TE representatives will be available at its booth throughout the show to answer questions and participate in interviews related to its connectivity solutions for offshore applications.
